The Genesis: 200 Farmers Unite
Bahati Dairies was established in the lush agricultural highlands with an initial network of 200 smallholder dairy farmers. Our founder invested in the first batch-pasteurization vat, ensuring clean, fresh morning milk reached local town families safely.
First Automated Continuous Pasteurizer
Commissioned our first automated continuous plate heat exchanger (PHE) pasteurization line and hygienic pouch-filling machinery, increasing daily capacity to 50,000 litres and expanding regional retail distribution.
Introduction of Mala & Fruit Yoghurt
Pioneered the commercial perfection of traditional cultured Mala and probiotic fruit yoghurts. Our strawberry and vanilla yoghurts quickly gained national acclaim for their rich, velvety consistency.
Aseptic UHT Long-Life Processing Plant
Launched our cutting-edge UHT (Ultra-High Temperature) processing plant in partnership with European packaging leaders, enabling sterile 6-month shelf-life milk without preservatives or cold storage requirements.
IoT Cold-Chain & 15,000 Farmer Milestone
Deployed digital IoT telematics across our refrigerated logistics fleet, monitoring temperature in real-time. Our farmer cooperative network surpassed 15,000 registered dairy farmers with direct automated mobile payouts.
40th Anniversary & 1.2MW Solar Transition
Celebrated 40 years of continuous dairy excellence by commissioning a 1.2MW industrial rooftop solar array, reducing factory carbon emissions by over 1,400 tonnes of CO2 annually.
